Yes they are much more voluminous but no...Hi Kevin,<br />Yes they are much more voluminous but not only at the forefoot but around heel and around ankle even more so. With shoelaces done pretty tight and with heel lock in place my feet were still sliding up and down thee boot and heel lock thingie was rubbing really bad.<br /><br />Lateral stability is better to other model and if the boot would fit me better I would pick the 2250 out. Both are good boots but the fit was deal breaker to me. Feel free to reach me for more info. I have always had heel slippage with every boot, but feel I have a solution once I have the boot. I like the ratchet system for more lateral stability.. would you say it gives enough for the extra expense?
